For a special, limited-release Pro Skate footwear and apparel drop arriving at skate shops this Saturday, December 22, Vans partners with London-based skateboarding brand Yardsale on a new collection inspired by California skate heritage. Paying homage to the rawness of the classic Dogtown era, Yardsale combines influences from their own stomping grounds to imagine their first-ever Vans designs through the lens of skating the grey suburban streets of London.
The Vans Yardsale collection highlights the Authentic Pro and Epoch Pro, two timeless skate silhouettes, complemented by a matching track jacket apparel staple. The Authentic Pro is crafted with premium suede tan uppers, while the Epoch Pro is dipped in a smooth burgundy fuzzy suede; each footwear style is unified by an embroidered Yardsale logo on the tongue, and a black and white stripe on the sidewall foxing. Engineered with Vans Pro Skate technology, each Pro style delivers upon Vans’ classic style and progression, offering durability and support through the integration of UltraCush™ HD footbeds for heavy impact, Duracap-reinforced uppers for ultimate durability, and Vans’ original waffle outsoles for maximum boardfeel. The trio is made complete with the addition of an indigo Vans x Yardsale track jacket, featuring a corresponding embroidered Yardsale logo on the chest and Vans logo on the back.
Started in 2013, London’s Yardsale combines the culture of its suburban South East London home with the luxury and leisure of 1980’s Los Angeles. Their videos showcase the rough hidden skate spots of both these cities by a team who reside on both sides of the Atlantic.
